In 2003, GKW Consult adopted the PHAST approach for its Bolpur-Raghunathpur Water Supply, Sanitation and Health Education Project in West Bengal. This was done with the objective of strengthening its hygiene and sanitation promotional activities and to facilitate communities to move from problem identification and analysis to problem solving actions. All the NGO teams were trained and learnt the appropriate use of PHAST materials. |
