“The campaign makes me feel good! When I am outside,
when I am talking to people I feel very confident. I was always very shy.
Becoming confident has been the most significant change in me.
I stay alone in the city, move about alone. Now that I
understand discrimination and violence better - if I face any situation
- I know that I don’t need to keep quiet. I can talk to people about
it. I know that I have help.”

Bijetri Bose
Bijetri studies Economics at Jadavpur
University. She has attended a series of trainings on gender and violence
at TF and has facilitated 2 events to create 77 changemakers. She has
spoken to a number of friends and classmates about the issue and the campaign.
She has motivated many of them to come for events.
