I have a younger sister at home. I often used to support my family and discourage her studying and feel its necessary for her to help out mother. But now I feel she also should be allowed to concentrate on her studies. I can understand her feelings better.”
“After the campaign, I am thinking more about Violence. I used to recognise only physical form of violence. But now I can feel the subtle forms of violence and can see it everywhere. I can now point out what Violence is.
I realised that without my knowledge I could also be perpetuating discrimination.

We Can Campaign Changemaker
Arshad is pursuing BCA through distant education. He is the founder member of YUVA, a group of young people committed to addressing social issues. He has attended a series of trainings on gender and violence at TF and has helped facilitate one event to create 50 changemakers.
