I realise that it is the patriarchal society which is making people do what they are doing. Most who perpetuate discrimination or violence are not even aware of what they are doing. Realisation needs to happen both for the perpetuator and the victim. It worked for me very well!
But I don’t think I have done enough - I want to do more work on the campaign.”

“The campaign makes me feel I have grown up! I was a very shy and an introvert person. But the fact that I could facilitate a session with a group of young people and talk to them about violence, discrimination, about the whole campaign makes me feel very confident.
I was sort of a male hater. But the Campaign has taught me not to be like that. I have become unbiased.

Anasuya is studying Economics at Jadavpur University. She has attended a series of trainings on gender and violence at TF and has facilitated one event to create 25 changemakers. She has spoken about the campaign messages to her classmates.
